CBSE suspends all ongoing board exams for Class X and XII

In a precautionary measure and in compliance of the instructions received from Secretary, Department of Higher Education/ School Education and Literacy, Government of India, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) decides to reschedule all the exams.

All the ongoing examinations of the board of Class X and XII that are being held in examination centres in India and abroad which were scheduled between 19 March to 31 March, 2020 shall be rescheduled after 31 March 2020.

The examinations that were re-scheduled to be held in violence hit areas of Delhi will also be further re-scheduled. The board also urges all schools to convey the message to their students.

All ongoing board exams related evaluation work in various centres in the country is also suspended till 31st of March 2020. All Centre Nodal Supervisors may ensure rescheduling of the evaluation work from 1st of April 2020 or as informed by the board.

CBSE also mentions that, after re-assessment of the situation, it will communicate new dates to all it’s stakeholders by 31-3-2020.
