CBSE makes special arrangements for disabled students in Board Exams

CBSE Secretary, Anurag Tripathi on the eve of the commencement of the exam has extended his warm wishes to the students and has also shared a special message to those who will appear for the exam this year.

In the message, he has firstly advised the students not to take stress for the exam. He has further asked the parents to ensure that they constantly support and guide their children during the exam period.

This year a total of 1889878 candidates will appear for Class 10 Board exam and 1206893 candidates will appear for the Class 12 Board exam. The Class 10 exam will start from February 15 and will end on March 20 whereas CBSE Class 12 Board exam will commence from February 15 and will conclude on March 30, 2020.

The Board, as per the press release has made special arrangements for students with benchmark disabilities. Along with this, CBSE has also extended some relaxations like change in exam center, chance to re-appear for practical exams, among others, to the wards of Armed Forces and Para-Military personnel martyred in the line of duty during this period.

The Board exam this year will be conducted in 5376 exam centers across the country for Class 10 and at 4983 exam centers for Class 12. Students are advised to reach the exam center before 9.45 am on the days of the exam.
