Kurukshetra: Kurukshetra University (KU) recently launched six new advanced skill courses to enhance the skills of students. Dr Kailash Chandra Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, inaugurated the courses during the induction programme for the students.
The KU had become one of the pioneering institutes where courses on chemical laboratory assistant, practical aspects of quantum chemical calculations, quality control and quality assurance, graphics design, online fact checking and digital media skills and retail skills were conducted.
The Vice-Chancellor said employment was not possible without skill development. He said KU students and those from Haryana could develop themselves with new courses and prepare themselves according to the needs of the industry.
He said the new courses would train the students in new technology, skills and current needs, on the basis of which students would be able to create a new path for themselves in the future.
